31 gün 31 tasarım - 11. gün: Puantiye noktalar / 31 day challenge – Day 11: Polka dots

Herkese merhabalar,

31 gün 31 tasarım’da artık renkler kısmı bitti, desenlere geçtik. İlk desenimiz puantiye noktalar. Şeker bayramının da yaklaşmasıyla rengarenk şeker gibi tırnaklarım olsun istedim ve bu renkli noktalı tasarımı yaptım =) Her zamanki gibi bunun da yapılışı çok kolay ;) Hemen nasıl yapıldığına geçiyorum:

1. Tüm tırnaklarımızı farklı bir renge boyuyoruz. Dilediğiniz 5 rengi seçebilirsiniz ama canlı renkler seçmenizi tavsiye ederim. Ben sırayla nane yeşili, mercan rengi, sarı, mor ve baş parmağımda da beyaz kullandım.

2. İlk olarak yeşille, yeşil tırnağım hariç tüm tırnaklarıma gelişigüzel iki büyük, iki de küçük nokta yaptım. Noktalamalarınızı yapmak için şurada bahsettiğim gibi toplu iğnelerle minik bir noktalama aleti yapabilirsiniz kendinize, ya da siyah tel tokalarınızı kullanarak büyük, kürdanla da küçük noktaları yapabilirsiniz.  

3. Sarı ile sarı tırnağım hariç tüm tırnaklarıma iki büyük, iki de küçük nokta ekledim.

4. Aynı işlemi beyaz oje ile tekrar ettim.

5. Mor ile de aynı işlemi yaptım.

6. Son kalan rengim olan mercan rengi ile de işlemimi tekrarlayınca, tüm tırnaklarıma tüm renkleri uygulamış oldum ve tasarımım tamamlanmış oldu =)

İnanılmaz kolay, rengarenk olduğu için de çok canlı görünen bir desen oldu. Ben sonuçtan memnun kaldım. Umarım sizler de denersiniz. Fikirlerinizi benimle paylaşmayı unutmayın ;)

Festival fun nail art

Hello everyone,

We have now finished the first ten days of the 31 day challenge and we are moving on with patterns. The first pattern of the challenge is polka dots. As the 30 days of Ramadan (The fasting month for Muslims) is about the come to an end, and there is this sweet feast following it, I wanted to have candy-like nails.

(For the ones who do not know about Ramadan, so I want to explain just a little. Ramadan is a 30 day period –a month in the lunar Hijri calender- in which muslims fast from dawn to dusk. After these 30 days, there is a three day public holiday which is called Ramadan Feast =) Young people visit their elderly and people who do not usually have a chance to meet try to visit each other. During those visits, the guests are traditionally served sweet food –such as baklava-, and candies. That’s why, the Eid is also called Sweet Feast.)

Anyway, back to the nails, as the sweet fest coming I wanted to have a colorful design and there is my colorful polka dot design =) As usual it is very easy to do. Here is how it is done:

1. We paint all our nails a different color. You can choose any five colors you like but I advise you to choose some bright colors. The colors I chose were minty green, coral pink, yellow, purple and white in order.

2. First with the green polish, we place two big and two small dots randomly on all of our nails, except our green nail obviously =) To make the dots, you can make such a tool I mentioned here using pins, or you can use bobby pins for the big dots and toothpicks for the small dots.

3. My next color was yellow. I did what I did in the first step.

4. We repeat the same step and make white small and big dots on our nails.

5. Next, we do the same using the purple polish.

6. When we also finish dotting with the coral pink color, we end up having all the 5 colors on all of our nails. So that’s it =)

It is extremely easy to do and it is very colorful and bright. I’m pretty happy with the result. I hope you like and try it on your nails too. Please do not forget to share your opinions with me ;)

By the way, I celebrate everybody’s Ramadan Feast (everybody who celebrates it, of course). We will be visiting my husband’s family with whom we do not live in the same city. That’s why, unfortunately and most probably, I  won’t have internet connection until next Thursday   That means I’ll not be able to write for some days, but I’ll be coming back with new posts with new and original designs.
